BEYOND ART & ARCHITECTURE

Denis brought together practitioners working across art, architecture, and design whose practices challenge conventional distinctions between disciplines. Rather than organizing the exhibition around a shared medium or aesthetic, she focused on how material, spatial narrative, memory, and the built environment shape the experience of space.

The exhibition considered architectural thinking as a framework for understanding relationships among objects, bodies, and environments.

The curatorial approach emphasized relationships among practices rather than disciplinary categories. Works were selected and positioned to create exchanges between material, scale, construction, memory, and spatial experience, allowing the gallery itself to become part of the inquiry.
