Conceptual Representation of the First Home Through Narrative, and Model Making

From Memory to Form invites students to explore how personal memory and lived experience can inform design thinking. Participants will examine the stories and spatial memories connected to their earliest home, the place that helped shape their understanding of space, identity, and belonging.

Through abstraction, storytelling, and a hands-on approach, students will translate memory into visual and spatial form. The workshop emphasizes introspection, conceptual development, and spatial awareness—skills that are foundational to architectural education.

This workshop focuses on conceptual and expressive representations of memory and space rather than the development of architectural plans or technical drawings.
